Groom : Ethan Niall Ward, a 25 year British national currently working as a Technology Support Officer in UK Bride: Sandra James George, a 23 year Indian national, currently working as Technology Support Engineer in UK In 2022, both came to know each other while in the University studies and decided to get marry, with the blessings of both the families and friends.

Haldi
Haldi means turmeric in Hindi. In Indian culture, especially in weddings, Haldi also refers to a pre-wedding ceremony where a turmeric paste is applied to the bride and groom. It is to bless the couple, purify them spiritually, and bring a natural glow to their skin. Turmeric is considered sacred and auspicious. It has antibacterial and beautifying properties. The yellow color symbolizes happiness, purity, and prosperity. Family and friends apply a paste of turmeric, sandalwood, rosewater, and sometimes oil to the bride/groom’s face, hands, and feet. It’s a joyful event with songs, laughter, and blessings.
