About the hosts
Anshul & Sukirti's story
Our journey began in India, where two people with the same spark found each other at the perfect moment. What started as a simple connection quickly grew into something deeper. We discovered how much we shared—our love for crafting, adventure, building things together, and even our careers as Salesforce developers. Music has always been part of our bond too. With Anshul on the guitar and me on the ukulele, our home has been filled with melodies and little jam sessions.
As our love grew, we took a leap and moved to Canada to build a new life side by side. Those years brought challenges, growth, laughter, and the quiet confidence that what we had was real. Now, after four wonderful years together, we’ve returned to India—back to where it all began—to celebrate with the people who matter most.

Mehendi (Optional)
This is a very close intimate event. Less people would be here. You are welcome to join if you like but its Optional. The Mehendi ceremony is a colorful pre-wedding celebration where the bride’s (and sometimes groom’s) hands and feet are adorned with intricate henna designs. Guests would also get to apply henna and can enjoy music, dancing, and a lively, festive atmosphere while celebrating with family and friends. Delicious snacks and drinks are usually served, and it’s a wonderful opportunity for photos, laughter, and joyful moments. The dress code is typically indian traditional.

Haldi (Optional)
The Haldi ceremony is a joyful pre-wedding ritual where turmeric paste is applied to the bride and groom for blessings, good luck, and radiant skin! It will take place in the morning and is optional to attend. Guests can choose to attend either the bride’s or the groom’s Haldi, as both will be held at different locations. Expect a fun, relaxed atmosphere with laughter, music, and plenty of photo opportunities. Bright colours, smiles, and happiness are the highlights of this special morning ritual.

Wedding
The wedding day is vibrant, joyful, and full of beautiful traditions. Guests can expect colourful outfits, music, and lots of celebration. The day usually includes the baraat (groom’s procession), the pheras or wedding vows around the sacred fire, and blessings from family and friends.
There will be plenty of delicious food (veg only), photos, rituals, and moments filled with culture and meaning. The atmosphere is warm, festive, and emotional as two families come together to celebrate the couple’s union.

Cocktail
Cocktail party would be a fun event , modern pre-wedding celebration filled with food (veg and non veg), music, dancing, drinks, and fun. Guests dress in stylish Indo-western or formal outfits, enjoy a variety of appetizers, and socialize freely. The atmosphere is relaxed and festive, with a DJ or live music setting the vibe.
There’s usually lots of dancing, photo moments, performances by friends or family, and plenty of delicious food and cocktails throughout the night. It’s all about celebrating, mingling, and kicking off the wedding festivities in a joyful, energetic way.
