Marriage
💍 Vivah – The Wedding Day
The wedding day begins with the Baraat, as the groom arrives with his family and friends, welcomed by the bride’s family with traditional rituals and music.
The couple then takes part in traditional ceremonies such as Jaimala, Kanyadaan, Sindoor Daan, and Saat Phere (Pheras) around the sacred fire. The families and loved ones gather to bless the couple as they begin their new journey together.
In many Bihari families, the day also includes traditional customs such as Parichhawan, Milni, and other family rituals, followed by the wedding feast and celebrations.
